1. Overview
This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases made through the EdwardMakesArt online store. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth herein. This Policy is binding and constitutes part of the overall Terms of Service of EdwardMakesArt.
EdwardMakesArt operates as a dropshipping business. Products are fulfilled by third-party manufacturers and shipped directly to customers. This operational model affects processing times, return logistics, and refund eligibility as described below.

2. Return Eligibility Window
Return requests must be submitted in writing to edwardmakesart@gmail.com within 30 calendar days from the date of confirmed delivery as recorded by the carrier's tracking system. Requests submitted after this 30-day window will not be accepted under any circumstances, and no exceptions will be made.
The date of delivery is determined exclusively by the carrier's last tracking scan confirming delivery. If the carrier marks a package as delivered, the 30-day window begins on that date regardless of whether the customer physically received the item on that day.
3. Conditions Required for Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be simultaneously met. Failure to meet even one of these conditions renders the item ineligible for return or refund:
- The item must be in its original, unused condition.
- The item must be completely unopened. Any opened packaging, regardless of whether the product itself was used, disqualifies the item from return.
- All original seals, shrink wrap, stickers, and tamper-evident packaging must be fully intact and show no signs of having been broken, removed, or tampered with.
- The item must include all original accessories, inserts, documentation, and packaging materials exactly as received.
- The item must show no signs of handling, use, installation, assembly, or manipulation of any kind.
- The return request must be accompanied by photographic evidence clearly showing the sealed, unopened condition of the item and its original packaging, submitted at the time of the initial return request.
- The item must not fall within any of the non-returnable categories listed in Section 6 of this Policy.
EdwardMakesArt reserves the sole and exclusive right to determine, at its discretion, whether these conditions have been met following physical inspection of the returned item.
4. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items
The following categories are strictly excluded from this Policy and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances:
- Items that have been opened, used, assembled, installed, or handled in any way.
- Items with broken, removed, or tampered seals or packaging.
- Items damaged after delivery due to customer mishandling, improper storage, or accidents.
- Items returned without prior written authorization from EdwardMakesArt.
- Items reported outside the 30-calendar-day return window.
- Digital products, downloadable content, or any product delivered electronically.
- Personalized, customized, or made-to-order items.
- Sale items, items purchased with discount codes, promotional items, or items sold as part of a bundle at a discounted rate.
- Items where the customer simply changed their mind after the item has been shipped.
- Items affected by delivery delays, extended transit times, or logistical issues beyond EdwardMakesArt's control (see Section 9).
- Gift cards and store credit vouchers.
5. Return Authorization Process
Returns will not be accepted without prior written authorization. The process is as follows:
Step 1 — Submit a Return Request: Email edwardmakesart@gmail.com within the 30-day window with the subject line "Return Request – [Order Number]." Your email must include your full name, order number, item(s) you wish to return, the reason for the return, and clear photographic evidence demonstrating the item is sealed and unopened.
Step 2 — Review Period: EdwardMakesArt will review your request within 5–7 business days of receipt. We reserve the right to request additional photographs or information before making a determination. Submission of a return request does not guarantee authorization.
Step 3 — Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): If your request is approved, you will receive an RMA number and return shipping instructions via email. Returns shipped without a valid RMA number will be refused and returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
Step 4 — Ship the Item: You must ship the item within 7 calendar days of receiving your RMA. Packages postmarked after this date will be refused.
6. Return Shipping Costs
All return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. EdwardMakesArt does not provide prepaid return labels under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The cost of return postage or courier service.
- Any packaging materials required for safe return shipment.
- Insurance for the return shipment (strongly recommended, as EdwardMakesArt is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit).
- Any customs duties, import fees, or taxes associated with the return shipment.
EdwardMakesArt recommends using a trackable shipping method with insurance. Items lost or damaged during return transit are not the responsibility of EdwardMakesArt, and no refund will be issued for items that do not arrive at their destination in the condition required by Section 3.
7. Inspection and Refund Processing
Upon receipt of a returned item, EdwardMakesArt will conduct a full physical inspection to verify compliance with all conditions stated in Section 3. This inspection may take up to 7 business days from the date the return is received.
If the returned item passes inspection, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the inspection being completed. The total refund processing time from receipt of the return may therefore be up to 17 business days.
The following amounts are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Original shipping and handling fees paid at the time of purchase.
- Any expedited shipping charges or insurance premiums paid at checkout.
- Any transaction fees or payment processing fees.
If the returned item fails inspection — for example, if seals are found to be broken, the item shows signs of use, or packaging is incomplete — the return will be rejected. The customer will be notified and offered the option to have the item reshipped at their own expense. If the customer does not arrange and pay for reshipment within 14 calendar days of notification, EdwardMakesArt reserves the right to dispose of the item.
Refunds are issued solely at the discretion of EdwardMakesArt following a successful inspection. Approval of a return request (issuance of an RMA) does not constitute a guarantee of refund.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled only before they have been submitted for fulfillment. Given that EdwardMakesArt processes orders within 1–3 business days, cancellation windows are extremely limited.
To request a cancellation, email edwardmakesart@gmail.com immediately after placing your order with the subject line "Cancellation Request – [Order Number]." EdwardMakesArt will make reasonable efforts to process the cancellation if the order has not yet been submitted for fulfillment, but cannot guarantee cancellation even within the processing window.
Once an order has been submitted for fulfillment or shipped, it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. No exceptions will be made. The customer's recourse at that point is limited to the return process described in this Policy, subject to all applicable conditions and exclusions.
9. Shipping Delays and Logistical Issues
EdwardMakesArt's standard delivery timeframe is 13 to 20 business days from the date of shipment, following a processing period of 1 to 3 business days. These are estimates based on typical carrier performance and are not guarantees.
Shipping delays, extended transit times, customs holds, carrier errors, weather events, force majeure events, or any other logistical disruption beyond EdwardMakesArt's direct control do not constitute grounds for a refund, cancellation, or dispute. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts the estimated delivery timeframe and agrees that delays within or reasonably beyond this window do not entitle the customer to a refund of any kind.
EdwardMakesArt is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, international transit variability, carrier capacity issues, or circumstances outside its operational control. EdwardMakesArt's warranty and return obligations commence upon confirmed delivery, not upon estimated delivery dates.
10. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is visibly damaged upon delivery, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, you must notify EdwardMakesArt at edwardmakesart@gmail.com within 72 hours of confirmed delivery. Your notification must include photographic and/or video evidence of the damage, defect, or discrepancy, along with your order number.
Claims submitted outside this 72-hour window may be declined at EdwardMakesArt's discretion.
Where a valid claim is established under this section, EdwardMakesArt's liability is limited to, at its sole option: (a) replacement of the item; (b) store credit; or (c) a partial or full refund of the purchase price (excluding original shipping costs). EdwardMakesArt will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
This section constitutes EdwardMakesArt's entire obligation with respect to damaged, defective, or incorrect items and supersedes any implied warranties to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. 90-Day Limited Warranty
EdwardMakesArt provides a limited warranty of 90 days from the date of confirmed delivery against manufacturing defects that render the product non-functional for its intended purpose. This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorized modification.
- Aesthetic variations, minor color differences, or variations inherent to the manufacturing process.
- Damage caused by improper handling, storage, or maintenance.
- Products that have been disassembled, modified, or repaired by parties other than EdwardMakesArt.
To submit a warranty claim, contact edwardmakesart@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and supporting photographic or video evidence. Warranty claims are subject to review and verification by EdwardMakesArt. Approval of a warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund; remedies are limited as described in Section 10.
This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by EdwardMakesArt. All other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment processor without first contacting EdwardMakesArt and allowing a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter is considered a violation of this Policy. EdwardMakesArt reserves the right to contest any chargeback with full documentation of this Policy, the customer's agreement to its terms at checkout, and all relevant order and communication records.
Customers who initiate fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks may be permanently banned from purchasing from EdwardMakesArt.
13. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract. Where federal or state law provides you with rights that supersede or conflict with any provision of this Policy, those legal rights will apply to the extent required by law.
Customers located in states with specific consumer protection statutes (including but not limited to California, New York, and New Jersey) retain any rights granted by those statutes that cannot be contractually waived.
14. Governing Law
This Policy and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and applicable state law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Policy Modifications
EdwardMakesArt reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website with an updated effective date. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your transaction.
